Today’s prompt: TOGETHER

Ready…. Go

Together:
The word together can mean different things to different people, it can be on an individual basis or as a whole nation, but when i think about the word together it reminds me of my best friend (BEE). We have been friends for the last 16 years and even though she dosnt live in the same country any more, we make it a point to stay in touch, through facebook and skype. Apart from the physical aspect, it feels like she never left.
Together we did so much, went to college together, did the most stupidest and the craziest things, went through so much, did so much. Even though i have alot of close friends now but i dearly miss her presence with me and i really hope that we can have those old days back some day 🙂

For all the fun we had and all the laughs we shared, all the tears we shed together, She is the bestest friend i could ever have, shes like my sister, partner in crime, the one who always supported me and was with me no matter what.  We have been the craziest ever! i miss her so much, Far from eachother, still together we hold strong and love eachother so much.
Friendship like ours is very rare and i hope that people who have such special people in their lives, appreciates them, coz true friendship is very hard to find 🙂

The Wobbly Fish Award

Have you ever experienced a day that feels wobbly for you? A day in which things do not go quite right? A day during which you continually feel off-balance? If you have, then this is the award for you! And if you are a Pisces, then it is definitely for you!

The Writer in the Woods created this award at a time when she needed to improve her wobbly day. As with every award, this one too has its stipulations. However these are different to the norm! To display this award on your blog, you need to do the following:

  1. Don’t send it on to other bloggers – because they can all award it to themselves. (No need to search through your blogroll looking for those who do not yet have the award).
  2. Send a kind wobbly fish thought to someone you know who could do with it. (I am wondering at this moment how I could email it….)
  3. Smile whenever you look at your wobbly fish! ( I certainly will – looks cute, doesn’t it?)
  4. Download the image if you would like the award for your blog. (go tohttp://thewriterinthewoods.wordpress.com/2012/04/18/the-wobbly-fish-award/ and download the button).

And finally: enjoy your day – even though it is a bit wobbly :)

I picked my wobbly fish from Collinesblog, where did u pick urs from?

PS: Thank you Writer in the Woods for creating a fun award that can brighten someone’s day.

5 Minute Friday – GOOD BYE!

5 Minutes Friday is hosted by  The Gypsy Mama every Friday where we write for five minutes right from the heart without self-editing, no backtracking or over-thinking on a given prompt.

Today’s prompt: GOOD BYE

Ready…. Go

Good bye, as simple as it sounds its very hard to say, especially when you are saying it to some one you know is going out of ur life for good. How do you let that attachment, that love, that intensity for the person just go to ashes in the burning flame of a simple good bye so easily??? its soo difficult to just stand there, face your fears and tell that one person who meant the world to you, that its the end? a good bye?
you need alot of courage and strength to do it, knowingly, it kills you but still you have to be strong, for your self and for the other.

Image

Wish it was as easy as saying it, things would be much simple. the hurting heart needs to lay back, the tears ready to fall from the corner of the eye needs to stay there a bit longer, the heart beating so fast needs to calm down a lil, the skin blushing with emotions needs to cool off a bit longer, till one is told off, Given a farewell………… A final good bye!

STOP!

Okay, it’s your turn.  I look forward to reading your thoughts.

*Relation*

Image

We shared a Relation
that i wanted to treasure
the relation of friendship
Relation that i wanted to last
but i lost it sumhow
when you were around
i had no fears
I was confident n proud
of being with you
it made me happpy
to call u my friend
we shared a special thing
a relation beyond the thoughts
our hidden feelings n love within
made the relation more stronger
i dont know where you are now
but when ever i think of you
I miss you more then ever

I have just started to take part in this 5minutes Friday challenge. this will be my first post.   We write for five minutes without self-editing or over-thinking on a given prompt.  Then link up at The Gypsy Mama’s to see what others have to say and to encourage each other’s efforts.

Today’s prompt: Light

Ready…. Go!

How do you see light? For me light means hope, i believe that every dark tunnel has a light in the end, a hope.

Image

I see how so many people give up so easily where as they are million times better then alot of other people, but they are never thankful, they are always looking for some thing more, always complaining. I cant believe how some people can just do that, i mean hello!, never give up is probably the first lesson we learn as a kid, when we try to stand the very first time, no matter how many times we fall we would still try to stand first with a help of something, and then slowly regaining our own balance, we stand by our own. similarly even when we grow up we need to apply the same technique, that no matter how many time we loose we should not give up and try again. Apparently most adults loose patience very soon and hence they fail to keep that level of calmness that is needed for certain things. We get impatient and want results immediately and gradually we are setting a very bad example for our young ones.

so many people even go to extremes of giving up like trying to commit a suicide. Its sad really sad…..I really hope that we as adults can practice more patience so that not just we can benefit from it but our kids can also learn the importance of patience and hope in life.

Stop!

Okay, it’s your turn.  I look forward to reading your thoughts.

Laptop Time OFF

Image

Today i plan to spend a day not much on laptop so that i can do other stuff. I have been tellin a friend i will visit her but i keep postponing it coz my crops need harvesting. i have to brainstorm on what i wanna get made of the new summer prints i got, but i cant find time for that. there are so many thing i think in the morning that i will do but before i know it its night already. Every since i have gotten hooked on the interned i feel i have stopped my other activities even my exercise 😦 So today i will take some time off from laptop and see how productive i get, may be even watch a season of one tree hill. Shall write all about it at night or tomorrow 🙂
