5 Minutes Friday: See

Today’s prompt: See

Ready…. Go

See: They say seeing is believing and beauty lies in the eye of a beholder.. It all depends on how you see things, what is beautiful to one person may or may not be the same for another.

I consider my self as quite an artistic kind of a person and when I pick my camera (even though i may not be a very good photographer), I see things in a totally different light. A new meaning, more in depth, I seem to notice more characteristics of an object or the subject through the camera then just my naked eye. Things seem more beautiful to me, the colors the texture, its all a feel good moment.

Image

Also they say that some people see things in a simple way and others tend to make them complicated, it depends on what factor you wanna highlight when you see some thing. a simple mind can really complicate certain things. i feel that way too at times but when i see the world through the eye of my camera, i simplify the most complicated things as well, I guess its just the way i feel about things. My pictures gives my sight a whole new meaning and i just love that about them 🙂

Every one sees things in a different light, thats my take, how about you, what do you think?

5 Minutes Friday : Opportunity

Today’s prompt: Opportunity

Ready…. Go

Opportunity:

A chance to do sumthing, for me its more like a chance to prove ourselves, to may be challenge ourselves to grab a chance. Its not every day that an oppurtunity knocks our door, It also depends on how one see’s an oppurtunity as. A chance to do sumthing and prove to your self and the world that you can do it and you have? Many people complain that they neva get a chance to do this and do that, at times you just need to wait and jump to an oppurtunity as soon as you see one to achieve sumthing that you want or you might just be too late.

Image
Its Funny coz i just have a very weird yet funny example that sits perfectly on the subject. Just today i went to a hospital to get a few reports, first i had to travel all the way from the main building to the parklig area which was a good 15 mins walk, then when i finally got the correct block, i had no idea i had to get a token before i can get my reciept to processs so after waiting in line for a while and finally coming to the counter am told about the token and to wait for the number to be called out. The machine, didnt seem too happy with me and refused to issue me the token, which i tried a couple of times, by now i had 5/6 people behind me waiting to get a token so when i failed i told the guy behind me to try, i thought he will be good enough to hand me the token if the machine works INSTEAD he takes the token and walks away :s and i just keot standing there loking at his back walking away. LOL now dats what i call grabbing an opportunity!
The next guy in line offered the help and sweet enough of him to give the first token he took out to me n then took out another one for him.

From this all i gather is that people now a days have become so insensitive that they will do any thing to grab the opportunity and win the situation, not caring hows others may feel

Have you had any similar experiences?

Five Minutes Friday: Perspective

Today’s prompt: Perspective

Ready…. Go

Perspective:

Every individual is different and every one has a different and their own prespective. and it is not necesary that two people will agree on the same thing.

Its just the way people look at things. Like for example all my elders have always pressed on this note that one should take care of what people say and every thing but my debate here is, yes one shud but not so mnay that you stop living life just coz oh my God what will people think. it some how does not make sense to me but it does to my elders somehow.

Image

For me prespective for life is to keep it simple and as easy as possible. No grudges, no complains and take life as it comes, who knows how long we are here for. A better and a nice prespective for life can really make things easy for alot of people. Its just how you see life as. For me its the most beautiful and precious thing we human have that God has given to us and we should cherish it as much as we can because i believe that Life is what we make it, So why not make it amazing for us to live despite all troubles an d problems that revolve round us:)

Thats just how i feel, how about you?

Today’s prompt: TOGETHER

Ready…. Go

Together:
The word together can mean different things to different people, it can be on an individual basis or as a whole nation, but when i think about the word together it reminds me of my best friend (BEE). We have been friends for the last 16 years and even though she dosnt live in the same country any more, we make it a point to stay in touch, through facebook and skype. Apart from the physical aspect, it feels like she never left.
Together we did so much, went to college together, did the most stupidest and the craziest things, went through so much, did so much. Even though i have alot of close friends now but i dearly miss her presence with me and i really hope that we can have those old days back some day 🙂

Image

For all the fun we had and all the laughs we shared, all the tears we shed together, She is the bestest friend i could ever have, shes like my sister, partner in crime, the one who always supported me and was with me no matter what.  We have been the craziest ever! i miss her so much, Far from eachother, still together we hold strong and love eachother so much.
Friendship like ours is very rare and i hope that people who have such special people in their lives, appreciates them, coz true friendship is very hard to find 🙂

5 Minute Friday – GOOD BYE!

Today’s prompt: GOOD BYE

Ready…. Go

Good bye, as simple as it sounds its very hard to say, especially when you are saying it to some one you know is going out of ur life for good. How do you let that attachment, that love, that intensity for the person just go to ashes in the burning flame of a simple good bye so easily??? its soo difficult to just stand there, face your fears and tell that one person who meant the world to you, that its the end? a good bye?
you need alot of courage and strength to do it, knowingly, it kills you but still you have to be strong, for your self and for the other.

Image

Wish it was as easy as saying it, things would be much simple. the hurting heart needs to lay back, the tears ready to fall from the corner of the eye needs to stay there a bit longer, the heart beating so fast needs to calm down a lil, the skin blushing with emotions needs to cool off a bit longer, till one is told off, Given a farewell………… A final good bye!

STOP!

Okay, it’s your turn.  I look forward to reading your thoughts.

Light = Hope

LIGHT = HOPE

I have just started to take part in this 5minutes Friday challenge. this will be my first post.   We write for five minutes without self-editing or over-thinking on a given prompt.  Then link up at The Gypsy Mama’s to see what others have to say and to encourage each other’s efforts.

Today’s prompt: Light

Ready…. Go!

How do you see light? For me light means hope, i believe that every dark tunnel has a light in the end, a hope.

Image

I see how so many people give up so easily where as they are million times better then alot of other people, but they are never thankful, they are always looking for some thing more, always complaining. I cant believe how some people can just do that, i mean hello!, never give up is probably the first lesson we learn as a kid, when we try to stand the very first time, no matter how many times we fall we would still try to stand first with a help of something, and then slowly regaining our own balance, we stand by our own. similarly even when we grow up we need to apply the same technique, that no matter how many time we loose we should not give up and try again. Apparently most adults loose patience very soon and hence they fail to keep that level of calmness that is needed for certain things. We get impatient and want results immediately and gradually we are setting a very bad example for our young ones.

so many people even go to extremes of giving up like trying to commit a suicide. Its sad really sad…..I really hope that we as adults can practice more patience so that not just we can benefit from it but our kids can also learn the importance of patience and hope in life.

Stop!

Okay, it’s your turn.  I look forward to reading your thoughts.
